What will you do as a plate roller operator at Kersten?

As a new colleague in our plate rolling department, you will join a team with nice colleagues and where there is a pleasant and informal working atmosphere.
Depending on your experience, you will receive the right guidance from experienced colleagues. The team consists of both experienced colleagues and colleagues who are learning the trade.

The work consists of:

• Rolling cylinders and cones on conventional and CNC controlled plate rolling machines.
• Working safely with lifting equipment including operation of overhead cranes.
• MIG/MAG bonding.
• Measuring workpieces.
• Performing minor maintenance on the plate rolling machines.

This is what we ask of you: 

• You have a technical LBO/MBO level or demonstrable affinity with metal technology.
• Also possible as BBL
• Experience with or interest in plate rolling
• You have a flexible attitude
• You are willing to work 2 shifts if necessary
