Logistics employee

Do you have extensive forklift experience and would you like to join our logistics team? 

As a logistics employee/founder, you are responsible for loading and unloading trucks and supplying production in a timely manner. You will use forklifts, heavy-duty trucks, overhead cranes and lifting equipment. You will also be responsible for the entry control of delivered goods. Interested?

What will you do as a logistics assistant at Kersten?

Your daily tasks will consist of:

• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Transporting goods to production departments in a timely manner.
• Performing lifting work with overhead cranes.
• Checking incoming goods.
• Registering incoming and outgoing goods.
• Clocking working hours on orders.
• Thinking along and contributing to the development of more effective and efficient working methods.
• Performing first-line maintenance on forklift truck and lifting equipment.
• Contributing to order and tidiness within the factories and grounds.

At Kersten, we work with an order processing system in which the goods are booked in and out. You do not need any experience in this. You will be supervised and taught this.

This is what we ask of you: 

• Technical LBO/VMBO level.
• You have extensive forklift experience (we work with heavy forklifts of more than 4 tonnes)
• You are flexible in terms of working hours and breaks.
• You are collegial and (customer) friendly to drivers and production staff.
• You have a quality-oriented attitude.
• You can work well in a team.
