Press braking thick plates

Where even thicker cylinders, cones or shells are required, Kersten uses the powerful 2400T Power Press. This press braker bends plates of up to 150 mm thick and 3.3 meters wide.

The machine is very accurate and is mainly used for (bending) thick-walled cones.

The machine only requires a one off set up, making it particularly suitable for small to medium size series with constant radii.
