In a prime location in Dubai, a new architectural masterpiece is rising on the world-famous skyline of the Marina district: the Ciel Tower.
With 82 floors, equivalent to a height of 365 meters, this is the tallest hotel in the world. The hotel has more than 1,000 rooms, luxurious suites, multiple restaurants, a spa with infinity pool on the rooftop terrace and a glass observation deck that offers 360-degree views of Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf from the 81st floor.
It is an iconic building characterized by its elliptical shape with tapered sections in the upper and lower parts of the tower. It has a silver facade and an opening at the top of the tower.
The section above the tower is called the "crown. This section is composed entirely of curved sections. Commissioned by Iron Makers Steel Industries (IMS), Kersten produced the curved parts for the 'crown'. The cooperation with IMS goes back a long way and together we have realized many beautiful projects. For the Ciel Tower we bent large round tubes, rectangular and square tubes and U-beams.
