Re-opening New York Vessel
The Vessel at Hudson Yards in New York City reopened to the public after being closed for almost three years. The reopening is accompanied by significant safety upgrades.
An iconic structure shaped like a honeycomb, The Vessel offers a different view from every angle. The structure has about 2,500 steps and 80 landings. The special attraction has invited visitors to enjoy views of the Hudson River and New York City from the Vessel.
The copper-coloured cladding is attached to an aluminium structure for which Kersten produced the curved aluminium profiles.
